The Pulmonary and Sleep Division at New England Sinai Hospital ( NESH), an academic affiliate hospital of Tufts University, is seeking to hire an additional Pulmonary physician. NESH is a 150 bed long term acute care hospital  located in Stoughton Massachusetts ,  20 miles south of Boston and is a major referral destination for Boston teaching hospitals and local community hospitals. The Pulmonary Center focuses on the management of the complex pulmonary patient and includes weaning from prolonged mechanical ventilation, tracheostomy management and non-invasive ventilation. There is a 4 bed Sleep Laboratory with a Sleep Clinic. There is an active clinical research program focused on recovery from critical illness with collaboration with Institute for Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies at Tufts University .

The successful candidate will also be eligible for an appointment in the Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Division at Tufts Medical Center New England Medical Center and will qualify for an academic appointment at Tufts University Medical School . Rotations to Tufts Medical Center are available for those interested.

Clinical responsibilities include supervision of physician assistants on the Pulmonary service and participation with teaching pulmonary fellows who rotate to NESH from Tufts Medical Center . BC in Sleep is helpful but not necessary.
